Taego secret rooms are found under buildings with a blue corrugated roof. The entrance is a floor hatch in the centre of the building, opened with a Taego Secret Room Key. The old Error Space system has been removed from the game — any guide still describing shimmering portals is describing a mechanic that no longer exists.

Error Spaces have been removed. Taego previously used shimmering 'Error Space' portals to reach hidden rooms. That system is gone; the current mechanic is the blue-roof building and floor hatch described below. This page is kept current so players searching the old term still land on accurate information.

Secret rooms hold loot that would otherwise take a care package: level three armour, high-tier rifles and the attachments that go with them. Treat the room as the objective, not the detour — a full clear is usually worth more than two compounds of floor loot.
